SILICONE HEEL SPUR PAD
WITH ELEVATED ARCH

The heel pad with the blue dot is intended to prevent pain in the heel bone area.
The
“spur” is a lug protruding from the lower part of the heel bone (calcneus) where the
main tendon of the foot muscle (plantarponeurosa) is connected to it.
About 10% of the
population, especially men working in standing position suffer from the “spur” phenomenon.

For reasons such as over-exertion, over-weight, flatfoot, working in standing position

, an infection is caused in the area of the spur which makes the spur growing in an
arrow-like shape.
More accurately: the tendon which is connecting the muscle and the
spur gradually becomes a sharp bone.

The pain in the heel might appear as well during the night, although no direct pressure
is activated.

The usage of the URIEL pad - 309, which is made of 100% silicone, with a softer blue dot in the centre and the elevated inner arch relieves the pain by releasing the strain of the body weight on the spur during walking/leaping.

The heel spur pads are supplied per pain and both of them should be worn, despite
that in many cases only one heel hurts, to prevent changes in the spinal column.
It is
recommended to wear shoes with a soft heel, to walk/leap less and loose weight.
